Cotton coasters, 'My Land' (set of 12)

Thailand's hills and valleys inspire the design of these coasters, crafted in the tradition of the Lahu hill tribe. Sewn by hand of cotton, the appliqu� work is rich in color and symmetric perfection. The Lahu people live in Thailand, China, and Myanmar and have developed a unique form of appliqu� and embroidery work to supplement their community's income.
